Honored to have received the 2023 Turgot Prize, for the best book in French on financial economics, awarded by the Cercle Turgot, the Ministère de l’Économie, des Finances et de la Souveraineté industrielle et numérique, and the Institut de Haute Finance’s Alumni Association, for my book Le capitalisme contre les inégalités co-authored with Yann Coatanlem.

I was delighted to discuss on equity, efficiency, and sustainability synergies, and on our book “Le Capitalisme contre les inégalités”, at UNESCO’s report launch on “Inclusive and Resilient Societies” on 31st March.

Our book provides an interdisciplinary and multidimensional perspective of inequalities and their dynamics. It challenges traditional treatments of inequality based on tradeoffs between equity, economic prosperity, and stability, and shows ways to make these objectives compatible and mutually reinforcing. 

Awarded the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences of the Institut de France 2022 Louis Marin Prize, an annual award intended to recognise a work of human sciences, for the book Capitalism against inequalities.

This course provides institutional and political economy insights on the fundamentals of global trade governance, including the WTO, regional trade agreements (FTAs etc.), IFIs, G20, and critical topics at the intersection of trade and investment, finance, taxation, development, and trade and climate change.
